Szigliget Várudvar welcomes hikers, families, and everyone seeking meaningful yet relaxed recreation at the foot of the castle, with breathtaking panoramic views of Lake Balaton. In the evenings, the nearly 900-seat open-air theatre hosts some of Hungary’s most acclaimed performances, concerts, and public talks beneath the stars. Weekend morning yoga and Pilates sessions offer the perfect opportunity to recharge, while children's performances provide entertainment for younger visitors during the day. Throughout the day, Várudvar offers refreshing drinks and a selection of street food, creating a pleasant place to relax where every member of the family can find something to enjoy. In the evenings, guests can choose from a special theatre menu, while the neighbouring Várvendéglő and Pura Vida bring together local and Mediterranean flavours in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This year, Várudvar once again hosts the internationally renowned Mediawave Film Festival, opening on 30 April with a concert by Parno Graszt.
