GUIDED HIKING TOURS

The Badacsony Guild Tourist Association has been organising guided hiking tours in the Valley of Volcanoes for six years. This year, too, exciting experiences await those who wish to explore the region. On these adventure hikes, participants can discover the varied hills, rich geological heritage, flora and fauna, as well as the historical and cultural treasures of the Balaton and Badacsony area.

Pre-registration is required:
In person, by phone, or by email at the Tourinform office.

Participation fee:
Children up to age 6: free
Ages 6–14: 500 HUF/person
Adults: 1,000 HUF/person

The participation fee is to be paid to the tour guide at the starting point of the hike.

Szigliget is a treasure trove of natural and cultural heritage. On the pleasant morning Kamonkő hike, participants can discover the earthly delights of this wonderful Pannonian landscape.

Saturday, 29 June: In Search of the Spiny Miracle Berry: a Mediterranean-flavoured hike at Szigliget (Kamonkő nature trail route)

Saturday, 28 September: Kamonkő Hike

Route: Tourinform Office – Avas Tower – Sand Quarry – Summit – Kamonkő – Tourinform Office
Duration: 4 hours
Distance: 8–9 km
Elevation gain: 200 m
